So I went out early today, only to the supermarket to get cat food,it was a nice morning.
Then this evening I saw the film I Daniel Blake,so sad in the end and higlighted the injustices of the benefits system in this country the UK,more cuts to benefits are on their way, they are finding more and more reason's to cut our money. But for now I am managing on what they give me and I had a good evening. I had a chai latte and a panini after at the cafe. Then I came home.My mood was better today.I am feeling worry and anxious about the whole benefits situation though,if they give me less money I won't manage at all.I only just make ends meet with what they are giving me now. |

I am worried about the same thing right now.
It remains to be seen if they cut our benefits in the states but I believe they will. The right is always pushing hard to take away more and more from the people that need it most. Very sad indeed, further proof that poverty is not an accident. It is just shameful but glad to hear you had a good day for the most part.

Hi Marilyn
This is happening in several countries of the world. There are people fighting to keep the services we need going. It is not for charity that the government has to provide these services and welfare programs. It is for the equalization of opportunities which should be one of the pillars of democracy. I want to believe that with all the fight that disabled people and others are putting up we will keep our services and allowances. But, on the other hand, I am glad you had a good day yesterday. Thank you for sharing good news

So I cancelled my plans for today.I was going to go to the cinema and watch a couple of films, however I got up early,I was tired by midday and feeling short on energy.
It turned out my good spirits this morning didn't last and I got low in mood, actually I am having mood swings today which is a large part of schizoaffective disorder. The thought of being all day at the cinema complex kinda made me shudder cos I can hardly keep my eyes open today. To make matters kinda lead me towards staying home and curling up in a warm blanket on the sofa with the heating on,it was pouring with rain out all day and cold! As it turned out I did have to pop out but only briefly to pay money into the bank, and while I was out I had a coffee at the coffee hole. I am home now.I might go see the film Fences with Denziel Washington and Viola Davis that I wanted to see today,on Sunday. |
