Spring is in sight. I live nowhere near topography but I can hope I might get near it in the coming months. What plans have you for 'getting with nature' this Spring and Summer.

I am already planning two extended camping trips (tenting of course) that will get me in my beloved forests and mountains.

I've also made a commitment to myself to get to one of the outlying nature reserves and parks in the area. I admit these are disappointing to me however. As an outdoor gal I consider them no more than bush but outside they still are and I must learn to take what I can get. Anything to get myself into nature.

That sounds wonderful- the camping trips! I also find nature very healing...nature helps me put things in perspective, and it helps me to just be.
Thanks for this!

When the spring comes I am finally free.
I spend as much time as I can on or in the water, fishing, swimming or enjoying
the beach. I also like the country side every now and then for a good hike or
just to take pictures and enjoy the scenery.

We want to go to our favorite park and camp this year. We missed it for quite a few years now.

I'm still hoping for another snow storm or two before Spring truly hits but I must say that Spring and Fall are my favorite time of year for getting out in nature. The summer is too hot for my lupus which limits me. I like going on small hikes in the mountains. I would love to go camping this year which is something we haven't done in God only knows how long.

Im working of getting my field fenced to ship my horse here. I will be spending all my time outside with her. May see how she does trail riding a little when she feels more settled in.

My spring nature volunteer work is on the decoration crew doing the flower decorstions for the x-country jumps & flowers in the arenas for the annual eventing show at the Ky Horse Park. That always starts my year out right in nature around flowers which after the show we get to load ourtrucks up with flowers to bring home & use for our own yards. Great way to start spring

I've always wanted to go camping but my friends are all indoor types so it hasn't been a thing.
Maybe this summer will be different.

You would love the farm a friend of mine owns. They have cleared 30 miles of horse & hiking trails on it. It has a huge lake & ponds all around through the area. Woods & fields. When not trail riding my dogs & I enjoy walking the trail along the lake. Much easier to hike than through my own woods with only deer or rabbit trails to follow. About 20 minutes from my farm. Each season has its own natural wild flowers. Gorgeous country to live in.
