I was going to put this in the videogame group section but decided not to since hardly anyone posts there.

Do you play videogames?
What system(s) do you have?
What do you like to play?

Just post any general chat about videogames.

I have a Nintendo 3DS XL but it is old and worn out so I ordered the New Nintendo 3DS XL (Galaxy Style) It will be here Friday. I mostly play Pokemon Moon and Animal Crossing New Leaf now. I did get a new game called Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, it's really fun. You basically just design houses interiors and exteriors for different animal clients, it's actually really relaxing I've found.

I just ordered a new game that just came out called "Story of Seasons: A Trio of Towns" It's farming life simulation game that's supposed to be really fun.

The Nintendo Switch came out last week, anyone get it or plan on getting it? It looks cool, I would get it just for the zelda game but don't have the money for it, maybe in like a year when the price decreases. I'm good with what I have for now.

You already know that I play I have a PS4, XBox 360, and a New 3DS XL. You should post a pic of yours when you get it, I love all the special edition systems! We've been talking about getting a Switch, but neither my boyfriend or I have the money for it right now. I'm sure it will be budgeted for soon though.

I like a variety of games. Lately we've all been into a new survival game that's out, called Ark. It takes place in primeval times, so there are dinosaurs and ancient, extinct animals. It is so much fun. We got a third PS4 last week so that all of our friends can play together on one server. So far there have only been 3 of us on, and we are all in a tribe together, but eventually there will be more. Once the game actually is released (it's technically still in beta), we plan on seperating everyone out into opposing tribes and playing against each other.
Thanks for this!

I do play from time to time. I have a pc, an xbox 360, and a 3ds. I typically like rpgs and open sandbox games. But i play a variety of games. I'm currently playing skyrim again for giggles. I kind of want to buy the switch just to play breath of the wild. Everyone's been raving about it in my friend circle.

We've been meaning to buy the re-release of skyrim for the PS4. I played oblivion and ESO, but never got to skyrim.

Since the dawn of time, I have longed for a post such as this. Years spent twiddling my thumbs, scratching my bum, and burping after a big meal of beans and mash, but nobody ever stepped forward to say what needed to be said.

Until now. You took under your wings this great responsibility; this strength you found within to share with the rest of humanity this topic of what has become known as: gaming

But on a sensible, non-ridiculous note, I used to game somewhat religiously, but gradually lost interest. Now, code is my game, with real rewards and best of all? It's never ending. I always longed for a game with epic longevity, and now I have it. If I get bored of one "game", there is but another awaiting my greedy brain.

That being said, I recently-ish installed Steam again, installed Hero Siege, and gave it a whirl. As I'm on Linux (I don't use/have Windows anymore) gaming isn't as much a thing as it is on Windows.

Granted, Linux can be and still often is used for gaming (for example, SteamOS, even though it kinda flopped) it's not quite as reliable and the selection isn't quite as vast. Still, I don't really bother with "AAA" games anymore, so I just stick to the lil indie ones, because I find they often have more "character", these days. Still, I load a game up maybe once a week for a few minutes. xD A stark difference from my old days of pulling successive all-nighters.

Anywho, I shall bid y'all farewell! Happy gaming.

I think i've probably played on every system going at some stage.

I grew up with sega megadrive, and was really in to sonnic, and tetrace, that sort of thing

then I moved on to playstation 1, nintendo wii and Xbox360.

I am a big fan of final fantasy, ever since discovering it, I have played like all of them (I love ffinal fantasy 10)

surprisingly enough, I love (and am quite good), at the football games (surprising because I actually can't stand football)

best game I ever owned though was goldeneye on nintendo. I loved it.

I also like the call of duty series

I used to be obsessed with gaming. I like the old vintage games like Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda and the old Final Fantasy games. I also dabble in modern day titles like Skyrim and even an odd MMO every now and again.

Yup. I'm a hardcore gamer who currently plays a lot of PC games but used to play a lot of old school NES games back in the day (Mario and Zelda were my two favorite game series when I was younger. The first ever game console that I ever owned was a super NES but I also owned a SEGA Genesis and a Nintendo 64.

I started as a PC gamer when I was about 8-9 with my first ever PC games being Diablo 2 and Starcraft. During my high school years I became a hardcore WoW addict who would rely on the game as a way to feel some sense of superiority considering that I had to deal with constant abuse both at school and home so all I did was go to school and play WoW. I became one of the top players on my server at the time in PvP (fighting other players) as a healer and the empowerment of everybody wanting me to join their group because of how good I was was made me feel needed which was amazing.

Now days I transitioned to playing more MOBAS than anything with preference to lesser known ones VS the big titles (League, Dota2) such as Heroes of the Storm and Smite and I am starting to master them after getting into them for a couple of years ago and it has made me feel good. While I'm no pro yet, going from Silver league to almost Platinum league in a couple of months (on HOTS) is nothing to sneeze at and gaining respect and admiration for my skill is something that I crave like a drug.

I'm also getting back into MMOs although more casually. Plan on getting another WoW account set up and playing some more Guild Wars 2 in order to have that awesome fantasy world to immerse myself in

Also gonna probably get an Xbox One when I save up more money and play both on it and do some Xbox to PC game streaming.

OK I have no life but who needs one when I have other lives that are much better than the real world haha

We have an xbox 360 and a nintendo wii. my husband is more into games, he plays the 360. I have been on a quest to win super mario brothers on the wii and collect all the stars in each level but that game is hard!! so i'm taking a break right now lol.
i like to play things like tetris and match 3 games online, casual games to relax. i'd like to find more I could play on the wii but i think everything seems too hard for me lol.

I love video games. I have a wii, and a nintendo 3ds xl. I also loved the animal crossing games. I was so addicted when I had my game cube to it. I mostly play video games on the computer. My favorites are hidden object games and match 3 and some time management games. I used to play a lot of role playing games like fallout, might and magic and some of the others. I had an atari growing up i was quite addicted to also.

I used to play nothing but the Medal of Honor games, non stop. I bought a brand new PS2 when the newest game came out many years ago and would only work on the PS 2. I was hooked bad!

I have a PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and a laptop that can play some games but I do the majority of my gaming on my PS4 and PC.

Now days on PS4 I'm mostly playing Overwatch, Fallout 4 and occasionally Paragon.

I tend to only play PC games like Starcraft where there is no console version.

OMG Guys I got my copy of Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns yesterday, it's the series 20th anniversary, I've never played any of their previous games but this one is amazing! It's so much fun being a farmer and interacting with the people in town lol

I want to get that game! I'm also really looking forward to getting Harvest Moon once we get our GameCube up and running. I've heard it's pretty fun.
