I bought a pack of Bazooka Bubblegum today and was really surprised when, instead of a Bazooka Joe comic strip inside the wrapper of each, you get a lousy riddle, game or something and a code to use on their website. What has happened to the world these days?

Simple. Kids these days are pathetic.

I'm a proud 90s kid and I still listen to a lot of 90s and early 2000s music, dress more like people did in the 90s, and like the cartoons and toys that were popular in the 90s even though I'm an adult in the 21st century now

About the only cool things about today is the awesome new technology, modern video games, and some of the lesser known "indie" bands. Everything else sucks.

No more comic? That's sort of a bummer you're right. How was the gum flavour? I remember being ticked off years back when CrackerJacks stopped putting little toys in the boxes. They started putting in those 3-d sorta animal cards. No-body liked those animal cards! Not sure what's in 'em these days...maybe I'll buy a box today for fun. Boo to Bazooka!...but I did love the gum.

The gum is "meh" at best. The flavor disappears after about 10-15 seconds and the gum itself is rather sticky. I actually prefer Bubblicious or Bubble Yum to Bazooka.

I am all caught up with daylight saving. Perhaps some day there will be nightlight saving?

Hockeycard gum was wow....you buy a pack of O-pee-chee hockey cards and there was this gum...Oh yah. They stopped including it way way back but they coulda just packaged the gum itself. Never been anything like it since. *drool* I do remember Bubble Yum...liked that one a lot too.

I always found gum packaged with sports cards to be hard and brittle, not chewy.

It all was at first but that O-pee-chee flavour was worth the fight to get gooey.

Wonder if they still put the "coins" in the packs of Mallo Cups? Also, a lot of you younger ones won`t remember these as it has been at least 25 years, I think, since they made them. Milkshake candy bars. I would have the store order a case for me each week. Man they were good, same with the Cajun Spice Ruffles.....

They have vintage candy sites on-line. You can still order some stuff from your childhood. I never would have imagined but there it is and it's new stuff. Since the age of the web perhaps companies have started making small batches? If permitted here is a link.

I have several friends in their 90's....talk about seeing changing times in their life time....lol almost horse & buggy times to this high tech life you can't NOT avoid.

Ringy-Dingy telephones with party lines to smart phones that "tell you where to go". Even since the 50's the changes are amazing.....for the good & bad.

True but it's wild stuff to reflect on isn't it. So strange to realize that progress wasn't always running at this speed. Looking at the last 100 yrs of flight? KABONG!! It always floors me! Medicine? Mind boggling. So fascinating to think about it all.
