I planted some succulents last year in a repurposed BBQ grill and now they are really big. But I want to keep them in the container I planted them. Are they fine staying in the container or do I need to take them out and plant them elsewhere?

You can pull off any "babies" and stick them in good soil elsewhere. I have Blue Chalk Fingers that I simply cut back to the stalk each year and they come back. Are these hen and chicks, or...what? Succulents are my favorite and I have them everywhere. They are tough as nails. As long as they are doing well where they are at, they should be fine. You may think about fertilizer or re-doing the soil if they show signs of ill-health.

I think they are ok in the container they are in. They have a small root system usually.
They don't require fertilizing. |

Lark, if the plants look healthy I'd leave them where they are.
On the other hand, you could Google something like "carrying for succulents" and see what comes up |
