To go out of town for an event staff job that doesn't include lodging. Some people have been telling me that younger females like me can easily go missing. I think they only serve us food and we sleep on the bus. Apparently we're supposed to leave early in the morning for a 4 to 5 hour ride to another city and state and then come back after event is over.

I don't want to sound naive but since we're not staying at a hotel (like I thought we would) do you think any think bad could potentially happen?

They say, if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Too good to be true. Is this an ad or something by an unknown company offering you a high rate for what seems like an easy job, and thats why you're tempted?

I'm sure it can. Have you thought of keeping pepper spray with you?

I think whether you're young woman or not, you need to stay alert. Bad things can be happen to anyone. Be careful, don't wander too far, and if possible stick to the female group. Observe the location (with google) before you go.

No hotel? What kind of job/event is this? How long does it last?

Tell them to get stuffed. Never hook your wagon to a cheap company. Based on what you said, nothing GOOD can happen.

If you have doubts that it's safe....LISTEN TO YOUR CONSCIENCE!!!! It's usually right when it comes to caution.

4-5 hour bus ride with with a group of people you don't know????I would be seeing red flags waving about this too.
