My cell phone keeps ringing and it says it's my hubby... but no one is there! I called him and he said it wasn't him. His phone is newer than mine and it flips shut... but when I answer, I can hear him walking around and people talking in the background... but he says it's not him! His phone isn't where it can dial by accident like mine! What the....???

It's not only spooky, it's getting damned annoying!!

No, he doesn't think past his nose, Angie. We think what happened is that it was raining last night and his phone must have gotten wet. Weird, though, that it kept calling me and not others!

It got so annoying that I just turned my phone off. When I turned it back on, it kept giving me the alarm that I had voice mail. LOL They were all of him walking around. I recognized the pattern of the swish, swish of his walk. LOL

Of course, it never did happen again when he got home! Too weird!
At least his phone knows to "call home!" hehehe

ET phone home!!!!!!!

How very strange these cell phones. I know I have a friend that I don't talk to often, but several times, I would get a call & it show up with the caller ID that it was her. I would answer & could hear he at a store checking out or someother situation, but she never actually called me. Don't even know how her phone would know to call me other than she has my # programmed in, but why it would come up & call me......Twilight Zone in action.

Yeah! ET phone home! LOL

Seems it isn't totally straightened out. We were both outside working on opposite sides of the house. My phone rang... his phone rang... We met in the middle and asked "Did you just call me?" Nope. Neither of us had called each other.

If it continues after the rain is gone, we'll have to take the phones in and have them checked out. LOL

I've had that happen to me several times before. I figured it was just because my number had been saved to their phone and they were accidently hitting the button. I've heard some funny conversations like that... along with the swishing legs!

You think THAT was weird! Wanna hear something else that's weirder??

This morning hubby got up and found that he had lost the outlet that has his bedside table and his radio connected to it. Later this afternoon, we took a nap because it was raining so hard and so dark. When he woke up and came into the kitchen, his radio came on, his lamp came on but the stove's clock started blinking!! We've either got a water leak somewhere and it's causing some sort of a short, or... we have gremlins! Usually, when the stove goes out, it takes the microwave with it. Not this time! Go figure!

My nephew's phone used to do that with me - somehow someway the speed dial or redial button would get punched and I could hear him talking and at the skate board park but since he was not actually calling me he did not know it was happening - I felt like I was eavesdropping if I stayed on too long just listening to him laughing and having a good time skating LOL.

Well, at least you heard something more exciting that I did! LOL All I heard distinctly was him walking around. The voices I heard were indistinguishable.

I can see how you would feel that you were evesdropping. At least you know he was behaving himself!
