I was just reading an article about the safest towns in the U.S.
to raise children and 10 of the top 30 are in New Jersey. It is one of things that people from N.J. know but nobody else really does. Just like our great beaches and fishing. GO N.J.

I was reading over the article and it seems I was wrong.
It was not top 30 but top 50, still 10 out of the top 50 is still great.

Everyone pictures how it was back in the industrial revolution days. The state was an industrial power house back then. Landing at Newark airport does not help the image because that area is pretty crappy, our larger cities are like everywhere else not in the best of shape but our suburbs are some of the best in the country. Also we have some of the best schools in the country. When you combine that with 130 miles of nice coast line it is hard to beat. NYC to the north and Philadelphia to the south also does not hurt us. Except for the winters (which I hate) it is a nice place to live.
