I did not know Ely until I bumped into it on you tube either.
Sad..... but think - she is somewhere else now holding another little otter's hand.

TY for posting the other link Possum....
It is sad that she passed on...yet she did bring many smiles and warm and fuzzies to folks while she was here.  I wonder if being in the Exxon Valdez oil spill had anything to do with her leukemia? She probably swallowed a lot of petroleum. Anywho....I will always remember her holding hands with her friends!!

awwww, well, she had a very long life despite the traumatic event, got to hold hands with her friends and even had her own pup despite the damage to her system from the oil spill. I think it's a miracle she lived such a long and happy life and I'm sure she's holding hands with her other otter friends in heaven.
