TBH I am thankful for peaceful counterdemonstrations, rallies against the hate in Charlottsville VA. Plus the many politicians of both major parties speaking out. Celebrities as well.

That my daughter is planning for the convention with everyone in mind. She'll be gone on my birthday, but she'll be having fun. I think that matters the most.

I'm grateful for the exercise on emotion acceptance I was given yesterday. I practiced it today and for the first time didn't have suicidal thoughts when I called up some memories I need to work on.
