So I decided that I want to delve into the world of Grinding/Biohacking in order to heal from my own issues my way and to further enhance myself, both physically and intellectually.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grinder_(biohacking)

When I get paid later this month, I am dropping some money on getting my DNA tested through a site that tests DNA primarily for the purpose of uncovering one's ancestral origins and then I am going to send my genetic data over to a company that provides genome analysis in order to learn everything that I can about myself, such as what genes I possess, my genetic strengths and weaknesses, and any other data that I can to improve myself and then I am going to develop a plan to hack myself though a strictly optimized diet, supplements, or even tech implants later down the road to ensure that I am the best possible version of myself that is physically possible.

I know I'm obsessed and all but I want to improve myself any way that I can.
Thanks for this!

Also, since I am obsessed with even numbers and I want to get to an even number of posts before I log off PC to get lunch, here is another cool thing that I want:

https://www.sciencealert.com/mit-is-...h-in-real-time

Color changing tattoos that monitor your health. I want tattoos to hide my ugly scarring from self harm and ugly stretch marks from being overweight as a kid from stupid pills and what better way of doing this than something as cool as a color changing tattoo?
Thanks for this!

This biohacking thing is very intriguing...

This is obscure(and mad). You will have to read previous stuff on my site to get a little clarification.

Unleash the inner hacker(or madman), build the game:

Quote:
MATTER & MOTION

shemhamforash rpg (part2):

(please read the first part of the game before)

...

Creating motion patterns:

Square diamond is home, numbered zero, a meta-node that links mind and matter.

Paths are marked by triangle pointers and circles are info-nodes.

Some pointers turn in the opposite direction.

Info-nodes and all pointers are reprogrammable for anything.

Motion or condition is set by random throw or deliberate decision.

A-LANGUAGE (info-node1)

tria prima:
letter = particle
word = atom
sentence = molecule

four elements:
noun = being
verb = doing
question = analysis
answer = result

Language is an ordered species of raw code, a subcode. Language mirrors and describes; codes and creates the worlds perceived by inner-outer senses.

PERMUTATION (info-node2)

a end alienation
b become alien
c allow your code to mutate

The idea of permutation relates to the act of arranging all the members of a set into some sequence or order; or if the set is already ordered, rearranging its elements.

3! = 3x2x1 = 6

(1)abc (2)acb (3)bac (4)bca (5)cab (6)cba

VECTOR (info-node3)

-> Euclidean-geometric-spatial vector is a geometric object that has magnitude (or length) and direction.

A vector is typically drawn as a arrow; the direction is indicated by where the arrow is pointing, and the magnitude by the length of the arrow itself.

Basic properties are:

-direction
-lenght
-location
-option

FORCE (info-node4)

A force is a vector that causes an object with mass to accelerate.

It is also a form of energy.

Matter has vibration property and is therefore also energy.

Energy collided with energy produces information.

matter -> energy -> information

CELLULAR AUTOMATA (info-node5)

On(black) and off(white) cell state depends upon the state of the cell itself(black or white) and those around it(black or white). Patterns of some seashells, like the ones in Conus and Cymbiola genus, are generated by natural cellular automata.

example:

0(0)1
(0) = 0 & 1 around 0 produces 0
1(0)1
(1) = 1 & 1 around 0 produces 1

WAVE FUNCTION COLLAPSE (info-node6)

According to the Copenhagen interpretation, physical systems generally do not have definite properties prior to being measured, and quantum mechanics can only predict the probabilities that measurements will produce certain results. The act of measurement affects the system, causing the set of probabilities to reduce to only one of the possible values immediately after the measurement. This feature is known as wave function collapse.

Our psyche is a mess of possibilities and only by choice or some signal, collapses into one special persona.

NEURAL NETWORK (info-node7)

A biological neural network; an interconnected web of neurons transmitting elaborate patterns of electrical signals.

neuron:
a single cell living in a network of cells that receives inputs, processes those inputs, and generates an output.

input -> process -> output

-dendrites receive input
-axon fires output

Information is processed collectively, in parallel throughout a network of nodes (neurons). The network mirrors the surroundings by creating inner visual and other signals.

HOME (meta-node)

Return to the beginning and rearrange...

I love to program with shell. I'm a big Linux fan and use it exclusively and extensively. I'm usually always working on one of my many shell projects, some rather large. I'm sort of obsessed, TBH. xD

I like using vimscript, (I love VIM and use it daily) but don't tend to use vimscript much anymore. I made a couple of simple functions recently, to change colorschemes on-the-fly, by calling functions using the keys <leader>color1<CR> and <leader>color2<CR>, but that's about it; not something I'll really use, I was just missing vimscript. xD

I used to use awk quite a bit. I stopped obsessing over it once I got enough out of it and eventually came across more efficient ways (using tools like cut, grep, tr, shell builtins, shell logic, bash brace variable usage, extended globbing, etc).

I did go through a phase of learning python and I still sometimes miss some of the syntax, but there are things about it which really put me off. I'm more into system administration and writing programs for added functionality, (terminal-focused) typically to that effect, so I guess it's just as well I'm happy with shell.

--- This paragraph might be triggering to those who suffer with paranoia ---
Oh, and regarding hacking, I can't imagine that's an appropriate topic here, however, I will add that I became very interested in that topic a while back. I wanted to better understand Internet security. What I learned is very useful when administering Linux and all that jazz. I'm far more aware than I ever was, that's for sure. I still learn, but not necessarily "hacking", more things you can do to bolster security, such as locking the root password, using shadow passwords, using nosuid and nodev on certain partitions like /tmp and /var, making sure you have a decent umask and permissions for system directories, checking tcp connections, using lsof to monitor ports, etc.
--- This paragraph might be triggering to those who suffer with paranoia ---

BTW, if anyone here is into shell or finds they do stuff in terminals on UNIX-like systems such as Mac or Linux, feel free to PM me if you need help with something or just want to talk nerd.

I use it to learn, communicate, and for entertainment like YouTube and Netflix. I know there's a dark, disgusting side to the Internet, but there's a lot of plus points to it as well.

My knowledge with code, Linux, German, guitar, body language, mental health, dogs, and a bunch of other things are partly or even entirely down to having the Internet as a learning resource. Not to mention were it not for the Internet, we wouldn't be able to post these messages for us all to see. I've also been able to help people with all sorts online, from support regarding MH or helping with their code or an issue they have on Linux; that would not have been at all possible if I didn't have the Internet.

Category:Patterns - LifeWiki
https://wiki2.org/en/Cellular_automaton

Patterns of some seashells, like the ones in Conus and Cymbiola genus, are generated by natural cellular automata. The pigment cells reside in a narrow band along the shell's lip. Each cell secretes pigments according to the activating and inhibiting activity of its neighbor pigment cells, obeying a natural version of a mathematical rule. The cell band leaves the colored pattern on the shell as it grows slowly. For example, the widespread species Conus textile bears a pattern resembling Wolfram's rule 30 cellular automaton.

Cellular automata perl code:

Code:
#!/usr/bin/perl -- -*- cperl -*-

Idk what to do with this yet, but you're presentation of the script was fascinating!!! I definitely read over it and tried to find mathematical patterns within it, even without knowing any perl yet. I like stuff like this. It's like biological back doors you can observe and then use as a rule in programing.

I just know how to run this script in terminal, mainly because its form is scrambled. The normal lines of code would make much more sense.
Welcome Lina. Sounds like feminine of Linux.

Actually I have a bit of a question I haven't had time to find a solution for. I'm trying to import excel as a module to use the spreadsheets to help build extensive lists and then start building more complex directories in python. Is there a way to do this? I know you can do something similar in powershell, but I don't want to do it in powershell. I want to eventually my own custom extensive catalog system down the line. It'd really help to just have an easy way to start managing a few excel spreadsheets so I can start to collect the data in the several categories that I need to have, so later I can just write something to import the data into the code to dump the values in.

Where can I get the quickest and easiest way to learn to do this? Thank you guys!

Oh! Well that would make so much more sense, and then now I don't feel as bad. I definitely didn't understand it too much, but that could be also because I don't know perl yet.

Ty, lol, it's just my name, but I like the comparison.

Im not really an expert in python or any computer programming. I just started learning it for fun and I seem to know more and more, just casually on the way.

Maybe this:

Today I tried to find a way to rename multiple files at once. Still trying... it would go faster if I didnt have to rest after every few minutes of staring into screen...
