Hey everyone! Welcome to my thread, as a semi-new member, I'd like to ask you all the question: What gives you happiness? For me, it's this:

Talking to my friends, family, and going on forum sites like these really help me feel happy, as I feel welcomed and supported.

I'd love to here your responses! Have a great day!

Twilight or dusk makes me happy. I love the feeling of the world winding down and relaxing. People seem to be in a good mood. Even if I'm having a horrendous day, my mood usually improves significantly once the sun starts to dip.
Thanks for this!

Simple things in life make me happy. The aroma of putting different essential oils together into my oil diffuser, having a salt lamp. I'm on a mission to get the other 4 items that have been medically researched to increase happiness: Ceylon cinnamon with honey (has to be raw, local honey...not found in grocery stores)., getting a cactus plant, having an indoor plant such as mums, gerbera daisies, or a spider plant..., a small water fountain, Beeswax candles, and Bamboo. Trying to make my environment healthy so that I can become a better person.

My incredible girlfriend. Linux. Code. Sometimes the guitar. Films. Learning. Cooking. Nature. Rain. Thunder and lightning. The odd bout of Oblivion on the 360. Yummy food and drink. A decent night's sleep. A comfy double bed. Technology. The Internet. Jogging. Running. Laughing. Joking. Happiness...

Gaming, technology, computers, a good fantasy or sci-fi story, music combined with creative thought... you know, typical nerdy stuff.

A life without being able to do these kind of things wouldn't be a life worth living IMHO.

The smell of fresh, crisp air. Cups of tea. Music. Painting. The sound of birds. Laughing. Beautiful art and photos. Animals.

As well as this the few good friends I have my boyfriend and the my family (when they're not being too critical anyways!) What gives you happiness?
Thanks for this!

Tea, writing, knitting, art, sometimes making art, reading, spending time with good friends, self compassion, volunteering, showing up, anything autumn, positive quotes and messages, being grateful, walking, nature, good food, following my intuition, living with integrity.
Thanks for this!
