so i was checking up on the SSRI's sources and i found out that they aren't that good for men. Then i thought to myself should i tell my psychiatrist that i should stay off it because i don't want to be loosing serotonin when they could actually be the cause of making me a better healthy men.

I have to personally be careful of what I google. So much of it needs to be taken within context.

Remember your psychiatrist has weighed up the benefits/cons of you taking these meds, and has decided that it's the best course of action for you.

I think you have misunderstood how they work - you are not losing serotonin by taking them - SSRIs are not Serotonin inhibitors, they are Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors - ie they inhibit its re-absorption thus increasing the amount of serotonin available in the synapse.
Thanks for this!

That kind of makes sense but i still wouldn't take it solely because it reduces my chances of controlling my hunger.

It depends on the anti depressant and how you respond to it individually. I tend to find SSRIs make me less hungry as they make me nauseous - what really increased my hunger was Mirtazipine.

This may be radical, but maybe you should talk to your doctor about what meds to take. You seem to confusing yourself with all the internet stuff.
