I’m starting to feel overwhelmed by all the suffering. People here are going through so much. My heart goes out to them. I don’t know what to say, always.

I wish life wasn’t so hard for us.

The air does get heavy, doesn't it . Even when I'm feeling alright, I need to take a break for a day or two sometimes. Understandably, some need a longer break than that.

But I've also met some genuinely amazing people, and they keep me coming back, and help keep me afloat. I only hope I do the same for them. From what I've seen, you are good at supporting others too. I hope you feel like you're making a difference here, because you are.

There are some great and amazing people here, I agree

It’s the good people who keep me coming back too

It can be overwhelming for the people who care (like all in this thread) but I’d rather have empathy than the other

Helping others (I hope ) helps me more than the medication and therapy I’ve been given (which personally made me “worse” )

I wish life weren't so hard as well for all those who are suffering here. Yes, take a break if you need to.... you clearly are very caring, and sometimes, just giving a hug showing that you care can help, even when you don't have any words. When I see lots of hugs on a post, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and makes a difference.

I feel the same about everything that's been said above.
Thank you all.

It's been a few days since you posted, key tones. I hope you're feeling less overwhelmed.

I hurt also for all those who hurt here. But I also enjoy being in the company of such amazing and strong and resilient people. Mostly that's what I see when I'm here. I see the strength and resilience and I feel blessed. It makes me feel like I can do it too. And I try to help where I can and be there for people who need it and try to make the journey a little more bearable. That's all you can do. I have found that the best thing is people who listen. I have no use for people who 'fix' because I can't be fixed. But I can always use someone to listen.
