Hello, hello. Checking in.

I'm still off-kilter, but it's okay -- I've been there so many times before. It's a lifestyle.

I've got things I really need to be tackling (like more of that disagreeable therapy homework, and other "it's good for you" projects). So I shan't linger, as much as I'd prefer to hang with you all.

Remember all those guitar string close-ups they used to do in the music videos? You could strap a camera to your wrists and do a motion/perspective clip for piano. Although, it would probably give everyone vertigo. But you'd be very avant-garde.

Ooh, ooh ... and I wanna see key tones dancing to music! And for anonymity -- just your shadow on the wall would be cool.

Ah geez. I'm sorry. I'm being a real pest. Me and my silly notions. It's like homework avoidance in school all over again. Sigh, back to work.

Glittery disco balls, glittery bubbles, glittery outfits ... you're an even stronger lady than I thought.

Sounds like fun.

I am doubtful I am friend-worthy

I ended a friendship with my best friend and some hurtful words were exchanged. I've wanted to end the friendship with her for a while, but the fire was when things really went south...I guess it's good to know who cares in these traumatic events, but I am so very sad.

My mom recommended I do volunteer work, so I am lending a hand to the lady who helped bring home my cats! I'll be helping with trapping and monitoring the feeding stations. <3

All the hugs, KT, I need ALL the hugs!

Bigiorno, the holidays are tough for everyone, and my house burning to the ground was not a good kickstart to my holidays...and then ending a friendship with someone I've known since 10th grade and feeling like I'm the bad guy in this situation...my mom told me, only you know who you are, forget what she thinks of you, it's time you give back to the community and focus on doing what's best for you, if anything it's a thank you to the woman who saved your cats, now you get to be the one to put a smile on someone's face by bringing home their babies. And that's a wonderful thing to think about! I might even be the one to bring home Smokey, my next door neighbor's cat that made it out of the fire! I've always wanted to do volunteer work, and now I get to give back to my own neighborhood by bringing back the cat my neighbors are still looking for!

I'll try to be more cheerful in here. Time to make someone else here smile for a change!

Cheerful Lark is fun! But it's okay if Stressed Lark is here too. She has a pretty fair excuse for being stressed.

KT, how many presentations did you say you have to do before the new year?

Oh, you would def get vertigo; I like to play fast

I can give you something better to look at than me. This features modern dance, featuring Sylvie Gulliem (the famous Madame Non)

It’s OK, Bijorno <snicker>

I like giving presentations. The problem is I obsess over them because I want them to be perfect, so I get nothing else done. One down today, four more to go

I had a job where I had to give presentations to large corporations once a year. I was OK with 200-300 people. When the room gets to be 500 or more, I start to freak out.
