When i was a young child i used to play a game in my back yard when it rained called Indians where 3 or 4 of us kids would divide the yard into tribes and rule them with our mud castles. We would bargain different pieces of food and various toys we found out in the yard and use rocks as money.

Aw that's adorable. We played a similar game...the Olden Days Game. We pretended we were in a band of covered wagons on the Oregon Trail...rode horses (on our bikes)...and sometimes we'd be fighting the Japanese in WWII and we'd build shelters to hide from the air raids...being kids history sort of blended together.
My favorite childhood game was Army Hide and Seek. It's hide and seek with guns (toy guns of course), and when we'd capture someone they were our prisoner and eventually we'd break out into battle to try and win back our prisoners. |

My favorite childhood game was...I would read a novel, and if I really loved it, my friends and I would dress up like the characters in the novel. We played "Little Women" for years.

The game of "Life." My cousins next door had it and I always wanted to play it when I visited them.

Baseball and football. There were always enough kids around to get some kind of game up. Or, break out the board games. Sorry, Chinese Checkers, etc.

"what's the time, MR wolf" it involves 2 people- 1 person acts as the wolf, and 1 person stands a fair distance away the second person asks: what's the time, MR wolf? and he'll say something like... 6 A.M, 7 A.M, etc with each answer, he moves a step closer to you then after a few repeats, you'll ask- what's the time mr wolf? and he'll say: dinner time and come after you you've got to try not to be caught |
