I just found out that Intel has released a firmware update, due to potential security vulnerabilities in certain PCs: https://www.extremetech.com/computin...agement-engine

You can download a software tool here to see if your PC would benefit from the update, or doesn't need it:

You have to unzip the file and locate one of two application (.exe) files in the decompressed directories. One of them has "GUI" in the filename, and that's the easier one to use for most people. It turns out my PC doesn't need the update (probably too old, lol), but yours might benefit from getting it.
