I would have to say, that Calvin and Hobbes is my favorite. I also really loved Garfield as a child. There's also Peanuts. Which, to be honest, I didn't appreciate much until recently. Love the Snoopy and Woodstock.

I don't really read comic books, but I do read graphic novels sometimes.

Is it really? I have seen that at the library. So is it written and illustrated by a holocaust survivor?

The author's dad was a holocaust survivor, but yes, it's a true story and a bit of a romance on top of it between the dad and his mom, and the mice are Jews and the cats are Nazis.

I almost cried reading it again, hehe. I've always had imaginary friends growing up and that just touched me when he turned into a stuffed animal when he had no time for him to play.

It's about these two younger girls in adolescence. They're on summer vacation with each other and their families. They're at a point in their lives where they're growing apart, and also curious about the older teenagers they see in town and around the beach. Its a pretty realistic seeming story. Growing up, growing apart, learning about people, behaviors, and how things are, and aren't.

In my childhood mostly I read manga since my brother bought them. If manga counted, then my favorite would be Doraemon and other classic manga. I don't like the newer ones, except a manga called Watamote.

My all-time favorite so far is Tintin. He's my childhood crush. Still love it!

Now, I stick with these 3 webcomics:
- Lunarbaboon
Do you have a favorite comic strip or comic book?

- Erma
Do you have a favorite comic strip or comic book?

- Silent Horror. (A horror story. No pic since the graphic is vulgar.)

There are still lots of webcomics, but they are from my country and discuss politic issues. So, I don't think I would write it here.

Turtle Rider! Manga counts! I've never read manga before, but I know some people really get into it.

I think I've seen that comic by Lunarbaboon! I should check out more.

If we're talking about Manga, then I am currently tackling the infamously long epic of Inuyasha. I have so far gotten to the third VizBig edition of the story. Since they're are 18 of them, I have a bit of a ways to go yet.

I also love the Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Manga. It's very different from the 90's Anime that was made. I think that what it tells, the original concept for the story, is a lot better than the Anime. However, the Anime has it's charm and I'll always love it to death (especially since it has a redub being made right now of it and one I absolutely adore!).

I watched Sailor Moon every so often in the 90s, but really only because my friends were so into it!

It sounds like you've got some reading cut out for you.

I always liked Richie Rich, GI Combat, Sgt. Rock and most all of the Disney Comics. Uncle Scrooge and Donald Duck, most of all. Heck I still read a few pages of them, on the days I actually eat something.

As a kid I loved Archie, Richie Rich, and Casper the friendly ghost. I really got into garfield comics and have them all and was a collector for the longest time. Now I just have the comics. I also like Tundra comics, an Alaska based comic strip which is pretty hilarious.

My favorite comic strip is Garfield. There is just something so charming about that sarcastic, overweight orange tabby that I simply adore!

Garfield is awesome. Have you ever seen the cartoons? I really liked them. Especially the Halloween special.

I used to watch the original 2D hand drawn cartoon "Garfield and Friends" back in the day as a kid. Always wondered what Sheldon (the chick who was basically an egg with feet sticking out at the bottom) looked like.

Do you have a favorite comic strip or comic book?

For me it was Snuffy Smith, Garfield, Hi & Lois, Beetle Baily, Hagar the Horrible, The Family Circle, Peanuts, some other one that I forget the name of and Calvin and Hobbs. Oh! And Funky Winkerbean. I used to watch Sailor Moon sometimes on Toonami too back when I had cable TV. Lita was my favorite character. I loved that she stood up to bullies, had awesome electrical attacks and had a soft side where she likes to bake pastries for her friends. I think I feel my heart pounding. What a woman!
