Just don't go about hacking government files....that doesn't go over too terribly well most of the time. Though, I've heard of stories where government hackers are often enlisted by said government to hack other governments....AFTER they've paid their debt to society via a jail sentence.

I learned off a site called SecurityOverride.org which had a bunch of hacking tutorials, combined with a few Linux virtual machines installed on my PC (thank goodness for fast gaming rigs!) that I hacked.
There are a number of ways to learn. As long as you don't go around hacking other people's stuff, you're good. P.S also if you really want to learn, install TOR browser and search the dark web for hacking eBooks or other guides because they're everywhere there. A good way to delve in would be to go to the hidden wiki and find websites with the .onion domain. Last edited by Anonymous52222; Aug 10, 2017 at 07:03 AM. |

Anyone familiar with some more cellular automata properties? I am collecting anything related to it:
-On(black) and off(white) cell state depends upon the state of the cell itself(black or white) and those around it(black or white). Category:Patterns - LifeWiki https://wiki2.org/en/Cellular_automaton Patterns of some seashells, like the ones in Conus and Cymbiola genus, are generated by natural cellular automata. The pigment cells reside in a narrow band along the shell's lip. Each cell secretes pigments according to the activating and inhibiting activity of its neighbor pigment cells, obeying a natural version of a mathematical rule. The cell band leaves the colored pattern on the shell as it grows slowly. For example, the widespread species Conus textile bears a pattern resembling Wolfram's rule 30 cellular automaton. Cellular automata perl code: Code:
#!/usr/bin/perl -- -*- cperl -*- my%t=('H'=>[99,6,0,3,4,0,1],'*'=>[5,3,1,2,1,2,11],'O'=>[7,9,0,4,8,3,4] ,'x'=>[12,3,0,1,9,2,4],'+'=>[17,3,0,1,9,2,4],);sub _{my($x,$y,$t)=@_;$ g[$x][$y]=l($t,$x,$y)}sub l{my($t,$x,$y,$a)=@_;+{v=>$t,i=>sub{++$a;my( $n,$s,$o);my@t=@{$t{$t}};for$u(-1..1){for$z(-1..1){$n=$g[$x+$u][$y+$z] ;if($n->{v}eq$t){++$s}elsif($n->{v}){++$o}}}if($s<$t[2]or$s>$t[1]or$o> $t[4]or$o+$s<$t[5]or$a>$t[0]){undef$g[$x][$y]}if(rand(10)<$t[6]or$s==$ t[3]){my($v,$w)=map{rand(42)%3-1}0..1;$v+=$x;$w+=$y;$g[$v][$w]=l($t,$v ,$w)if not$g[$v][$w];}}}}map{_($$_[0],$$_[1],"H")}([20,10],[20,9],[21, 10],[21,9]);_(40,10,'*');_(39,10,'*');map{my$q=$_;map{_($_,$q,'O')}(29 ,30)}(18,19);_(30,3,"+")^_(29,3,"x");while($:){&c;for$y(1..22){for$x(1 ..60){if($m=$g[$x][$y]){print$$m{v};$$m{i}->()}else{print" "}}print$/} print$/;sleep 1}sub c{`clear`}#To support Win32 make that sub c{`cls`} |

When the internet began I thought "how wonderful, it will make people more connected and intelligent" what a dumb dumb I was....after watching the trends I've seen that for most it was the very opposite of what I hoped it would do. It gives the illusion of performance while proving impotence in the ends.

Well, it wasn't a total and complete waste, Elsa, we did get faster communication...the quality of which is up for debate, but yeah, it's definitely faster.

It's all in how people use it and what their intentions are I guess. I'm just jaded so take what I say with a grain of salt....many are using it to truly correctly for sure.

My new method, for both managing my depression and not getting jaded, is to limit information intake and let it settle before another jump. I dont read news anymore, dont read specific user posts, and I try to be less assuming about what others are trying to say. Like focusing from the giant swarm of confusion into pieces that fit me...

Before the internet, we had all sorts of ways for doing things, and some of them I miss, but if the internet went away, what I would miss the most would be the ability to make friends all over the world. That was much, much harder before.

What is the point of hacking?
Why would you want to do it? I understand crooks want to hack in and get cc and ss card numbers...but the average Joe? |

So called "white hats" do it to test the system and get paid for it. Some others do it to learn more about computers and use it in another area of interest. Some just want to impress others...

Then there are people like me who learned how to hack primarily as a way to feel some sort of power in an information ruled world because of constant abuse by my mother and being bullied at school made me feel like a powerless, worthless nobody. Not to mention, my mother had me so screwed up by telling me how I would always need somebody to take care of me and I would never be anything on my own and what not that I was utterly convinced that I would have to learn how to be a black hat hacker to take care of myself because I was unable to take care of myself or do things like everybody else. So yeah, I was messed up. It's crazy how far I've grown. Perhaps now, I could call myself a true "hacker" based on my own definition of one because obtaining knowledge has once again become one of my top priorities in life. |

Did a little correspondence game with language this morning. Does this make sense:
noun = being verb = doing question = analysis answer = result I have zero knowledge of my native or English grammar. I wanna learn it in less painful way. ![]() |

I think that having at the very minimal, basic cyber security and hacking knowledge is becoming more and more essential as we move into a world dominated by information and technology. I think that those who don't have at least some hacking knowledge in 20-30 years will have little to no chance of competing in the world of the future. That is my hypothesis anyways. Regardless if I'm right or not, the more challenging a task is and the more forbidden a reward, the more seductive the temptation is for me to complete the task. |

Invented in 1957 by Frank Rosenblatt at the Cornell Aeronautical Laboratory, a perceptron is the simplest neural network possible: a computational model of a single neuron. A perceptron consists of one or more inputs, a processor, and a single output.
