I have heard that turmeric helps with depression but this is the first time that heard
it may help with cancer.

I've heard that it helps with cancer and many health issues. It fights inflammation, I think. I had a cinnamon and turmeric tea once. I gave it away bc overtime I drank it it gave me a headache.

I agree about the inflammation. Turmeric as wells other herbs have a anti-inflammatory process. Depression is a disease of inflammation. I think it can't hurt to try, but it probably has a negligible effect.

There are many who say Marijuana can affect cancer. It is both an anti-inflammatory, helpful for pain relief and nausea.

Yeah, I believe it about depression being an inflammatory disease. Inflammation is at least part of it, at least it was for me. When I wasn't on any antidepressants over the summer and early fall, I really noticed a negative change in my mood when I would eat junk food and even things like white bread. Now that I'm on an antidepressant that works for me though, I don't have those same effects as much with junk food. I do still feel crappy after eating certain stuff though.

Yes. I talked to my psych about it because I have an autoimmune disease that also causes inflammation.
