No champagne for me this year. But I've got my snacks ready. Trying to find a good movie to watch too.

Right now, I'm watching Orange is the New Black, but going to finish up this season and move onto a scary movie as planned.

Thanks. Netflix has been pretty light in good scary movies lately...so don't know what I'll find. A couple of years ago, Netflix had great horror films...but Netflix has gone really downhill lately, aside from the originals it produces.

Whar a way to celebrate new yesrs, in bed with bronchitis....at least you cant be annoyed by my coughing & hacking. Yep in bed with my pooches & all 3 get my loving kissed especially Leo my snuggle bug eskie. Want something HOT to drink. Thunking something with peppermint schnopps in it or my pumpkin spice irish cream....that will knock me out for awhile so I can sleep without coughing.

& here I had ballroom dancing with my ballriom dance group or cards & snacks with other frends but BED wins though I do have to give my woodland critters their new years eve dinner before crashing.....need dinner myself too just didnt have energy to fix it

Well, I settled on action/adventure/suspense: London has Fallen... Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett. Seems pretty solid.

I bought those frozen drinks in a bag/container...but didn't realize they take 8 hours to freeze. So no drinks for me tonight. BUT, I had some strawberry pina colada mix and ice, so I made a virgin strawberry pina colada...Honestly, I don't miss the rum in it at all. I just like the sweetness of the drink.

Also, yes, I live in Florida, but this week apparently is winter for us. It's below 40 outside...and it was below 70 in my apartment. I was so cold that my nipples were hurting! (Maybe TMI) So I finally put the heater on. It seems against the laws of nature that while living in Florida you would ever use your heater. Seriously wrong.

Had leftover Christmas ham on a slice of bread for dinner, will have leftover eggnog at midnight. Watching an old Colombo episode then touched with and angel, all on ME TV. A nice mellow night under my new furry blanket as I stay warm from the bitter cold out there. At 11 I'll tune in and watch the crazy folk who are standing outside in freezing weather watch the NYC ball drop.

So true, and in a crowded plaza...without bathrooms. I'd sooner watch it on TV.
