Mmmm, I love blueberry muffins, but only made with real blueberries... none of that flavoring stuff. My fav muffin, though, is the buttermilk spice muffin at a restaurant out here called Mimi's Cafe. I usually hate spice muffins because they can be so strong, but these are perfect and they serve them to you freshly baked and steaming, with cinnamon-streusal topping!!! As Rachael Ray would say - Yumm-o!

Oh, yes, blueberry - but not those big store bought kind, ick. I also make a pretty good bannana cranberry muffin.

I like:

- Blueberry
- Banana
- Chocolate chip
- Chocolate chip banana

or a good carrot muffin, if it doesnt have chunks/pieces of carrot in it.

pumpkin, without a doubt.

I also like cherry-almond or carrot.

I agree about the fresh ingredients - muffins aren't worth it unless they're freshly made and with real ingredients instead of a bunch of chemical powders.

Ooh, forgot about apple cinnamon - whenever I was sick as a kid my mom would make those as a treat for me... never see them in stores already made... always just packaged.

I wish I could eat the banana nut muffins - they smell so darn good - but I am deathly allergic to banana! It sucks!!!

LOL - on an off note, after mentioning my banana allergy... once I was at my pdoc's office and she always has fruit and water and stuff and she was eating a banana and offered me one and I said thanks but I can't eat bananas. She said "oh, I forgot, you are afraid of them! Do you want me to put them away so you don't have to see them?". I'm like, uh I'm not afraid of them, just allergic... she says "oops, that must be another girl".
