I have never played, but I've always wanted to. I watch Critical Role on Twitch when I can and love how they manage to get into their roles so well, I think it would be so much fun to experience.
I really like the kitty race, because cats. (Can't recall what it's called now, I only briefly looked into races when I was considering joining an online D&D group.)
