My birthday is on Sunday (kind of disappointing it’s on Super Bowl Sunday) and I am thinking Of going to Outback Steakhouse. They have a special steak and lobster “starting at $15.99”

Last year I went when they were having the same special, and it seemed pretty misleading. You’d think the $15.99 would be the smallest size steak and a plain lobster tail right? Well it seemed like you had to pay $15.99 each. It almost seemed like false advertising since in the commercials they show them on the same plate.

Maybe I read or misunderstood it wrong? Can anyone confirm that you really do get both the steak and lobster for $15.99 total?

Thanks.

Can you Google it or call your specific location to ask this?

You could call and ask to make sure. I love going to Outback myself, but it does end up being near a $100 for just the two of us. However, we do order a wine for me, and two appetizers as I also love having the coconut shrimp appetizer.

The way to keep the cost low is only drink water and stick to just having whatever is on special and no extras. If I need to keep the cost down I will only order water with a slice of lemon. I have had the special that can be steak and a lobster tail and it usually comes with a vegetable.

If there is an Outback near you, you can always stop in and check the menu and ask about the specials.
Thanks for this!

I’m planning on just getting a soda and an entree.

The same thing happened to me. It cost $70 for the two of us. About $55 was my own fault. I ordered a drink, a regular order of cheese fries (also a caloric nightmare) steak and shrimp, sides that cost additional money and a dessert.

I have no idea why I went overboard.

I just googled it and it seems it’s 15.99 for the steak dinner with side , and 15.99 if you decide for lobster and side. So one or the other.

Call your local restaurant and verify prices, also ask about any coupons that they offer, many places have coupons you can bring up on your smart phone.

Also ask about buying gift cards to use, Christmas time many places have a buy say 50.00 and get a free 10.00 card.

I have a local place that does it year round.

Happy Birthday

Thanks for the replies.

I went today and it was both steak and lobster starting at $15.99. The 6oz sirloin and lobster was $15.99. My mom said I could splurge a bit so I got the 11oz sirloin and lobster for $24.99.

Maybe I just misread it last time.
