My room mate moved out this morning, earlier than I expected her to. She got a place for Feb., and her furniture was being delivered this morning, so she's turned over the key and her laundry card.

I'm relieved because she had unmedicated schizophrenia and was constantly accusing me of stealing her food, and saying I couldn't be in the same room as her because our energy was incompatible.

But now the pressure is really on to find a new room mate, because I can't afford this place on my own.

I'm stressed and relieved.

Haha, bad roommates are the worst. I roomed with a girl while inpatient once who was an absolute holy terror. She refused to switch to another room too, so I too matters into my own hands and snatched her paperback out of her hands and ripped out a bunch of pages and threw them around like confetti. She flew into a rage and demanded that I pay to replace it, and then stormed out and told the nurse she needed to switch rooms immediately.

I amicably wrote the check while I was signing my discharge paperwork a few weeks later. I would've bought her a Lamborghini if that's what it took to get rid of her.

Here's to financial security and a peaceful household.
