Ever score an outstanding deal?

I just found a roof top cargo carrier for 10 bucks on a buy and sell site. Bargain! I've got it home now and everything seems is in order. It seems barely used. What a deal.

What is your bargain?

I cannot think of the ultimate deal that I've had. I do have a variety of deals in mind through the years. My sons and I chuckle at the living room coffee table that I paid $75 for and the woman claimed was $1200 originally. And I don't doubt it. The top looks slightly duller than it must have and some marks on one of the wooden legs. That's one example. There's times when it's timed out that I've been willing to pay full price on an item to get to the register with an unsuspecting sale. Or a few times with groceries and the tally on an item is like I've been paid pennies to take it home.

I go to bargain stores a lot, and almost always leave with something good. I like coach, and now have several bc of bargain stores.

I walked away once with a heck of a deal on a used kayak - and then they pointed to all the gear which was worth more than what I had already spent and said it all went with it. That was a very good haul.

I got free TV. Smart TV. Quite large. 4 years later it works just fine. It was free if you buy a new memory foam mattress and bed frame which I needed anyways. And the guy wanted me to buy a pillow and mattress cover to go with a new bed. I refused to buy it. He ended up giving it to me free, I had to pay a $1 to show it was sold, not just given. Art Van does amazing things sometimes.

I asked my ex-wife, "A penny for your thoughts?" I thought it was a bargain, but then realized I overpaid.

Once I went to Five Below. I saw 3 video games that were marked down so I was ready to buy them. However, they rung up as $0.00 each and they just let me take them. Can't beat free brand new products.

I can find pretty good bargains at the thrift shops.

Probably one of the best bargains I found was a coffee table worth $2,000 that I paid $100 for.

Also when I worked at a high end clothing store I could get Levi’s for $10-$13 a pair.

Bargains but I worked hard for them too but not as hard as what these awesome cherry wood antiques would have cost otherwise. I moved here 11 years ago with basically no furniture....wow, the beautiful pieces I acquired when I helped a friend clear out an elderly friend's farm to sell it after she had to move into nursing home care.....along with a really almost new recliner. Ah, nice to have a REAL chair to sit in after not having anything for 11 years.....the nice thing is that I knew the elderly lady well & visited her weekly & decorated her room with things from her house for every season of the year....so this furniture has a wonderful history I got to know & it means alot since I know the lady it beloneg to. Sadly she died on Christmas day this last Christmas so it is an awesome way to carry her memory with me.
