Aka as Shrove Tuesday. Not sure what that means but for me it translates to pancake Tuesday.

When I was young my mum used to make them for the family and toss the hot pancakes in the air to turn them over.

The best topping for me is lemon and sugar. What do you like?
Thanks for this!

I love blueberry pancakes. They're always good in chunky stuffy pancakes. I love making pancakes as well.

Maple syrup, especially on banana nut pancakes. It's like an explosion in my mouth!

'Shroves' are unleaven breads, hence pancakes as they in a way are too.

Just regular 'coyote' brand flapjacks in our household.

I am a fresh raspberry fan but if not then pure maple syrup.

Some history on Fat Tuesday:
Mardi Gras is French for "Fat Tuesday", reflecting the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season. ... In countries such as the United Kingdom, Mardi Gras is also known as Shrove Tuesday, which is derived from the word shrive, meaning "confess".

Lent is a time of preparation for Easter (40 days before)in the Christian churches.

Lots of butter or peanut butter.

I’m not a big syrup fan. Just a little dot of maple is good though.
