It got down in the teens a few times here. I don't like weather that cold. In the fifties is okay.

I hate rain storms and love snow, unless I have to get out in it.

-36 Celsius. Ie: freeze body parts off cold.

I hate the really cold. Everyone is convinced to indoor entertainment and the germs spread like wildfire.

I don't mind a good snowstorm when it's not deathly cold. I always love a good rain storm, especially when it knocks the power out.

Love the cold tbh. Ok, not extreme cold ofc but I prefer winter and I like snow so it's not a problem.
Coldest I've experienced here in Romania is around -25C. In fact the other night the minimum temperature at night was -22C cause we've had a blizzard and some extreme cold for a few days.

Fascinating thread.

The coldest it's gotten here this winter (I'm in northern Calif) has been a couple of nights around 30 degrees. The days have been oddly warm, for the most part...some 50's, but a lot more in the 60's- even high 60's.

I love the rain and adore real rainstorms...thunder, lightning. We're desperate for rain here and have been getting some this week, finally.

It doesn't snow where I am, but the mountains 90 minutes east of me are getting a great deal of badly-needed snow this week. I think snow is beautiful, but I don't like being in it; seems that it's always muddy and much, much too cold.

0. But maybe a few degrees below.

I hate the cold. But what I hate even more is those really mild days in the winter where it’s warm enough to wear a light jacket or maybe it’s warm enough for just a T shirt, but then the next day it’s freezing and snowing.

It’s like a taste of spring that’s just going to be taken away.

I love thunderstorms in the summer. When I hear thunder on a muggy day smell rain, and the temperature suddenly goes down 10 degrees, I get a shiver down my spine. I love it.

Oh, you're fortunate to get summer thunderstorms. That's a very, very rare event here in California.

interesting indeed.

this year i've seen it at -20F with a wind-chill/feels-like temp of -37F! last winter it was down to -26F or so, which is about the coldest i can remember. i don't mind winter but when it's that f-ing cold, um no thank you!

i don't mind the snow or the rain. i like being outside without 5 different layers of clothes on though! and at least with rain storms, i don't have to be outside shoveling snow for half hour or more!!!
