when you're planning to order something in, what takeout do you choose?

what do you prefer?

9 times out of 10, I'll choose pizza (we have some really nice pizza places around here), but I'll also go for fish and chips sometimes, and chinese

Actually it is Thai, not Tai but thst was my favorite when I lived in Calif. No Thai Restaurants here & I miss it. Chinese is second Favorite. I know the owner of our local Chinese restaurant from my ballroom dancing group. Always nice to know the owner personally.

Though I LOVE the take out chicken livers from our local Lee's. They are moist & tender....a treat I do once every few months. I hardly ever eat out

Love Japanese tempura. Deep fried in a nice fluffy crusty batter. Sweet potato dlices, shrimp, green beans....almost everything can be cooked this way & dipped in a soy sauce base dip

Noodles. A good Ramen dish can be to die for. Also, edemame. That's soybeans which boiled in a brine with the shells still on. You actually squeeze the beans out of the pods to eat them. And Mochi cakes, which are little squishy cakes made from rice flour and filled with sweet bean paste in a variety of flavors.

This is an easy one for me. Traditional authentic Indian each and every time.
Buying a few staple varied curries, and adding my own accompaniments like rice, flat breads, salads and sweet chutneys makes for an easy, no fuss, enjoyable feast. Sydney has no shortage of good Indian restaurants.
