I banged my knee against my desk really hard yesterday. I don't bruise easily and I also don't break easily, but it's been hurting consistently since then and even a little when I walk. I'm still waiting to hear if my Medicare has been reinstated so I don't have insurance to go get it checked out. It's probably just a bruise and I'm feeling it because I've been crawling around on my knees with the puppies...but oy! it hurts!

Thank you both. It's not so bad today. Still achey. But I think it's just a bruise in the wrong spot.

Yes, the desk was uninjured. It doesn't hurt as much now. Still a little bruised. But man I got it in just the right spot, I guess.

And, of course, I banged my knee again, same spot. I need a new desk. This relationship just isn't working out. It's too abusive.

Sounds like you need to get some arnica gel at the drug store (OTC). It helps with bruises BUT bruised bones hurt for a much longer time no matter ehst we use.

I was on my woiden stairs. Turned around & whacked the bone on my ankle. Hurt like hittkng the elbo crazy bone. That initial pain didn't go away for days (even using arnica gel on it). I started thinking I might have chipped the bone but knew that it was nothing more than a bump because I remembered it was really nothing when it happened. 6 mobths later & every once in awhile just touching the snkle or twusting it I will still feel tgat twinge of pain. Bone bruises take forever it heal & get rid of the soreness.

Hope you knee recovers quicker than my ankle : hug:.....

Lol.... time to get rid of your abusuve desk after having it hit your knee several times.

Sigh, I just got this desk too! I thought it was going to be perfect but I see now that it's not right for a few reasons. I have to wait until like May to change my set up again though....so I just have to deal.

Sorry to hear about your knee. And that you hit it twice in the same spot. That's got to hurt. You have to be careful with knees and elbows because the skin is so thin there.
