I haven’t tried them all, of course.
But I could use some help because I’ve only tried three vendors during the past twenty-years. I began with L.L. Bean — excellent craftsmanship. I could carry my pens and, if needed, stash my reading glasses. And the pockets never came off because of poor sewing. But Bean tossed the more neutral colors and began to only offer bright and happy colors and that drove me away. Next, I tried Eddie Bauer. Almost perfect and a similar sewing pattern at the tops of the pocket. And then — with The Territory Ahead’s strange promos, I suddenly had four t-shirts with pockets. The best cotton. Extraordinarily comfortable. But no attention to pocket longevity — two months and the pockets began to rip away from the body of the shirt. Those three. I should try Bauer, again, but I’m hoping that someone has success stories with other vendors. Where can I find the very best pocketed t-shirt?

I don't know if I can direct you to the absolute best but, I get my pocket T's from Walmart in dark colors and it does take a while before the pockets try to get in rough shape for me anyway.
I think that may be Loom of the Fruit or Senah. |

I don’t mean like the Ferrari of t-shirts... just a good Prius. I’m so stupid that I haven’t even Googled ‘best men’s t-shirts!’

Do you know that L.L. Bean has a lifetime guarantee on their clothing? So since the pockets ripped you can certainly return the t-shirts. Of course, exchanging them is a problem if you aren't pleased with their color selection. But you might be compensated in some other way...refund or another type of exchange.
American Apparel was known for their well-made t-shirts. AA has gone out of business, but you surely can find some t's on Amazon or ebay. Also, what about Nordstrom? Last edited by *Laurie*; Apr 02, 2018 at 06:20 PM. |
