so the word I've just learned is oxygen (I know, 30 years on this earth and I didn't know the word oxygen)

so I know what it means.. the air that we breav, but it got me to wondering.

what in the world is your oxygen?. what do you need to help you focus and to I guess breav, but in a coping sort of way.

my oxygen is cola. it really helps me

Sleep.... I can push myself until I am so exhausted all I can do is crash. Sometimes a power nap works, sometimes 12 hours of sleep, but am ready to focus & work then

I love it when someone here on the board says I’ve cheered them up! I placed a few therapeutic threads in the depression forum (and some other areas) to help pull me out of my desperate place, and once in a while someone will say it helps them too

The other thing that is also my oxygen is enjoying the coons that come up out if my woods for their dinner & beg at my back door & the possum that strolls in later to see if there are left overs. The gorgeous white taiked deer that graze in my fields, I the red fox that visits at times & the 4 baby foxes I found tumbling around their tree den when I was doing my volunteer work at the horse. Oh the baby 2 inch box turtle I found when mowing several years ago was adorable & I just found mommy bunnies nest under my pine tree when mowing the other day. Looking forward to the baby bunnies hopping all around my yard. Love hiking in my woids wirh my dogs after a good snow storm & getting to see & identify all the critter tracks by the streem & creek.
I love the cardinals. They will sit on my front porch roof & twit at me when their food supply is empty in the winter. It is enjoyable to have a direct interface with the nature I live in.

The nature I have been surrounded by these last 11 years has brought a peace to my life I never experienced on a daily basis.

My imagination...from childhood on. It's given me an insight into life that I feel I'm lucky to own. It has its drawbacks but I need the stuff. I'd uhh, y'know...suffocate without it!
