I woke up at 5 this morning and couldn't sleep, and looked outside to see that it's snowing! I don't think I even remember it snowing for Christmas last year!
This is so exciting, snow always makes me think of Christmas. And my birthday.
Take that, global warming!

I think I woke up to rain. It's a kind of depressing time for me. But there are compensations; good books, food, getting inside where it's warm and cozy from outside where it's cold and gray :-)

Yeah there is something satisfying about laying in bed with sweats on, and 3 blankets, and knowing that it is 35 degrees out. =P

You're in Honduras and it's snowing???????? Is there a mountain there? I've never been, but it's supposed to be a very interesting culture and has amazing scuba diving.

Snow. That isnt a good word where i live.

In past history it has snowed, mainly just flurries, less than 10 times. But, on Christmas Day of 2004 it snowed the entire day. We had two inches of snow on the ground. First time ever to snow here on Christmas Day. Everyone everywhere was outside building snowmen, throwing snowballs and singing their hearts out with Christmas jingles. It was the most beautiful and best Christmas any of us have ever had.

Later, months later, we found out, that day, was a sign of what was to come.

Why i had to share this? Well i dont know. I guess its just that every time i hear that word, snow. It makes me think of the best and worst i've known.

I miss the snow. I remember digging tunnels and building forts in the snow when I was a kid. I lived in Wyoming `til I was 12 and alot of my best memories were in the snow. Except when my older brother & sister would carry me out into the back yard & dump me in the snow with no coat or shoes.
