If you were given the opportunity, training, etc would you go to the moon?

For me there is no way I would do it even if you paid me. Can you feel my claustrophobia showing?

How about you and why?
Thanks for this!

I'd go as long as I could come back in time for the World Series. I'm always up for an adventure.
Thanks for this!

I’d go IF I could bring those closest to me along for the ride. That would be an epic adventure to share together

No, I’m claustrophobic as well. Can’t even get in a damn elevator or even an airplane. Space ship is a no.

Me, on the way to the moon: "Damn! I forgot my meds!" They'd leave me on the moon.
Thanks for this!

I'm always up for a vacation....but would have to find a way for my dog Leo to come along. He always has the position of my "wing man" in my truck, he would have to have that position on that trip too.

Now that my children are grown, the risk of not coming back is less of a problem. I probably would. Besides, I really need the physical work out required.
Thanks for this!

Yes, I'd do it. I love to travel. Although, I'd rather go back to visit Ireland again.
Thanks for this!

Ah yes.....the moon just doesn't have the same greeness as Ireland even though it's made of "blue cheese"

Too many knobs to learn. And how to fix the knobs if something breaks. And they're just moon rocks. Mars is a different story...

I’ve never even been on a plane before. So i don’t think I’d want to go to the moon.

I guess my username is a bit of a hint that I would say yes. Oooo ... science, new worlds, astronomy, one heck of a view.

And not only am I not claustrophobic, I'd actually enjoy fixing and flying the spacecraft.

(although in reality I'm more "Kerbal" than "right stuff")

Ireland is awesome. When I was younger, I'd go over with my dad to play golf every now and then. I've played Cork City, Ballybunion, Rosses Point, Lahinch, Lakes of Killarney, Tralee, and Waterford to name a few. Great memories with my dad.

I would not only go but even pay to be allowed to go, if I had the money. I'd love to go into space!
