I have told a couple of people about my fire alarm... and it still continues to amuse me.. so I will share.. and perhaps it will make you smile...

You see...... you must change fire alarm batteries..... or they let you know they are very unhappy... with their..... beep.. beep.. beep.. every minute...

and so... my saga..

I hear... beep.. beep... beep... and I wonder where the "beeping thing".. is coming from.. if you catch my hidden meaning..

Soooooooooooooooooooo... I locate the offending fire alarm... take it down... and throw it under the pillows... on my bed... thinking.. I will deal with this "beeping thing" later..

welllllllllllllllllll.... later..... was bed time... and yepper.. I was tired... so I went to find the fire alarm... and grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... no where to be found under the pillows..

so.. that night.. beep... beep.. beep... all night long...

the next day.. I thought.. I am going to have to clean the house.. to find the alarm... yepper... so I am closing doors... trying to locate "the beeping" fire alarm ...

I look.. and look... definetly in my bedroom... ah ha.. I found it.. in my pillow case... and sooooooo I thought... I will throw it on the porch and deal with it later - notice the trend.. "later..."

sooo. threw it on the porch.... and grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..

the beeping didn't stop in the house..

ahhhhhhhhhhhh... it was the fire alarm.. on the ceiling in my Bedroom.... that was doing the beep beep beep.... "the beeping thing"...

the story of my fire alarm... as best as I can remember..

Thank you for a good laugh.

Glad to know I'm not the only one chasing "beeping things"

i was alone one time and i started to hear something coming from upstairs...well here I figured out (from downstairs...im not that crazy girl who goes looking for danger!!) that it was my sisters toy that turned on...weird huh....so i went back to the couch and tried to hold my fear in and then all of a sudden every single smoke detector went off in house! they all just started beeping like mad and I ran out the front door in the yard and refused to go back inside until someone came home lol...thank God they were only on a walk....true story...freaked the crap outta me roflmao..
