Hi Friends,

Well we were lucky and the ice storm passed us by to the north. We have enjoyed much needed rain all day.

How are you all faring?

Sunday
Cloudy. A chance of sleet...rain and freezing rain in the morning...then rain in the afternoon. Little or no sleet or ice accumulation. Highs in the upper 30s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.

Yay! They changed it.

Thanks for asking. It is snowing just a little in Lansing, lL.
Although my neighbors told me the expressways were very
slippery. Yikes !!!

We are use to this kind of winter weather, but it still doesn't mean we like it.

Take care and enjoy your weekend. Midwest Ice Storm

It just started to snow here in NW Ohio. They are saying more ice than snow here. Guess we will see. Got my groceries last night and hubby and I are doing organizing stuff today. Football tomorrow woo hoo!! I'm ready to just cuddle up in my blankie and read a book or something later... with some hot chocolate or tea lol. OOOOhhh maybe a movie!!

Hope the rest of you are ok and safe. Hang in there!!

We're on track for about a foot of snow, and the freezing rain started earlier this afternoon.
Blah.

We started out with some snow in Chicago and then it turned to freezing rain. A lot of cars are coated in ice. Roads are slippery.

I had just finished an accupuncture treatment at a spa when the rain started so I decided to hang out and got a mani and pedi.

So not all was lost!

We have been hit with colder than normal temperatures this past two days and we are to be hit with more snow and cold these next few days. I don't know how much will hit us in my area yet, but today's high temp was -14 (celsius). That was our HIGH!!

Well, as the only poor sucker here who lives in Minnesota, we're buried in a mountain of the white stuff. Next time I leave my house: late April.

On it's way......much much snow and sleet will greet us this afternoon/evening. Tomorrow's commute should be a real nightmare....*sigh* I'm not ready for a foot of snow and all the mess that goes with it. We're getting a one two punch from 2 different systems.

Ah well...guess I'll go get some groceries and hunker down and bake Midwest Ice Storm

Hope everyone is safe and dry.

Took my BIL and I 40 minutes to scrape a solid inch of ice off my car this afternoon!! BLAH.

It started snowing again about half an hour from home, but I'm here, finally, and looking forward to not going to work tomorrow either! LOL

We've got real rain now. Probably Pennsylvania's fault. Thanks Pink.

I spent two and a half hours today snow blowing the driveway and shoveling out the walk.

L.A., here I come.

The wind here is horrible now in NW Ohio... if you got anything outside that needs to be brought in from the wind ... do it now.

Cyran0,

I was comforting myself, when the temps got down to around 30 degrees (F) by looking at homes in Florida online.
