I’ve had great fun posing questions in this social chat forum; I’ve gotten to know some members much better, meet members new to me, and the experiences have been helpful to me.

So, this question is a little more nuanced than the previous.

Not what you hate, not what you cannot abide, but things that you simply don’t like, reasonable or not.

You can’t answer “people on cellular phones” because that’s an annoyance. You can answer “wearing artificial fabrics” because, hey, a lot of people do!

And you positively cannot preface your answer with “people who” or end your answer with “people!”

Understood?

Okay — I’ll go first this time.

Lingerie.

~The traffic across the bridge. I cannot say I hate it, as the highway is just next to the ocean - a lovely color, colors, of shimmering-changing greens and blues, even greys - that said, sitting in the lines, lines, lines, of cars is...tedious. *The lines. Pay toll. Finally it's time to cross the bridge! There it is: The City!*
I simply do not like that traffic.

Distance, it’s sorta apart of space and technically not a physical object, thus I can’t hate it, but I don’t like it when I am 200+ miles away from friends.

I'm on a roll here! I do not like clocks. I only like atomic clocks that show the utmost accurate time in the hour, minutes, and seconds.

Vanilla ice cream and vanilla smell in essential oil and cosmetics makes me sick. However I have no problem with vanilla aroma in cakes or pudding.

bananas and parsnips. They're the only 2 foods I absolutely refuse to eat.

Oh my goodness & here I thought I was the only person who won't eat bananas. I went into an urgent care years ago in Ca. They took my blood & it came back way low in potassium....so low they called an ambulance to transport me to the local ER 2 blocks away. ER said I had to eat a banana before they let me go. I said "no way!!!! you will have to find some other source if potassium". (I eat sweet potatoes now)

I love finding others who have the same dislikes as me

Beets. Ugh. My mother loves them and planted them in the garden every year. Then, we'd have boiled beets like forever because they last, and we had to eat all our vegetables at dinner. I wasn't that fond of turnips either, but I could at least tolerate those.

cigarette smoke, especially from chain smokers - never smoked, grew up in a non-smoking household, close relatives (grandparents) never smoked
