What is the next thing you are really looking forward to?

This coming Monday,3rd September,I am having one of our get togethers with my niece.We are meeting at the cafe for a late lunch,then watching the film,Mamma Mia,then an evening meal at our favourite Mexican restaurant.

My niece is off to London to start her third year at university on 19th September,I am looking forward to spending Monday with her and we will probably have another get together for a meal at my place one sunday before she leaves to go to London.

I am looking forward to these times together where we can enjoy a film and meals and have a chat and a laugh,we are very close and I love her so very much.So this is what I am really looking forward to next!

My birthday. I always get excited and have fun. Last year I didnt as I was fresh out of the hospital. This year is going to be epic.

Marylin - that sounds like such a lovely time! I hope you and your niece have a great time!

I'm excited for my new mattress to get here. I feel like a little bit of a broken record, since I have another thread about it, but that's the thing that I'm most looking forward to (and nervous about) right now!

I'm looking forward to seeing my pdoc on Tuesday, hoping she can do something magic with meds so I can feel...not like this.

Friend said tomorrow we'll get to play games. ^^ Even though he's still gonna be high from the meds, he knows he will be up until school starts and really wants to play. It's gonna be hard for him to really be invested in the game though, but it will still be nice to spend some good time with him.

i'm looking forward to maybe taking photos later today, and also meeting up with a couple of friends this afternoon.

I ordered a new recliner which I'm looking forward to. And looking for someone to prescribe medication soon. And looking forward towards being anxiety-free.

My new fridge freezer is being delivered tomorrow and on friday I am going to see a film.On saturday I am visiting my mum who is home from the hospital today.

My finalized dissolution of my marriage in Ky so my Calif lawyer can proceed with our dissolution of assets out there.

Trying to get my doggie Leo stabalized on the prednisone so his coughing stays less & hopefully we can limit the effects of what seems to be a lung tumor.

Won't go back out to Calif to deal with the marriage assets until I know how Leo is going to be doing.....but looking forward to the next step in getting this long awaited divorce over & done with.

Fall. Walks outside in the cooler weather.

I hope that I’ll live long enough to get a very special wheelchair and dentures.

Oh, yeah.

On Tuesday my PCP was able to bypass all the ‘pain clinic’ crap and he put me back on OxyContin. ‘Medical necessity’ seems to trump any hand. I’ve never experienced an opioid ‘high’ but I’m not in such great pain any longer and I’m thankful for that.

Lots of things that have me drooling with excitement, these days!

My art is accepted to a next regional art show (regional think like northeast or southeast etc). Next month. Something to look forward to. Although reception is on a weeknight which is always a pain.

Death, really looking forward to death. Nothing else going on as every time I try to make any kind of plans, things go down the tubes.

Death holds no allure for me, it’s gonna happen when it happens. The treat is in dying, the way that you live your dying. I’m gonna keep up the dying as long as possible, although my body is really calling the shots now. Although I certainly have bad days, I never have uninteresting days. There is a beauty and giddiness in dying that I never expected to find.

And, yeah, after months of dying, death comes. My life is expunged and I disappear.
