Its my sons birthday tomorrow. Sadly he has had no friends at school since his best friend moved 2 years ago. Hes such a sweet and sensitive kid that he is really hurting and thus its destroying me. He went so far as to tell me not to plan a party this year as no one will come.

I posted on FB asking friends to send him a birthday wish tomorrow and I've been overwhelmed. He's getting birthday wishes and videos. A friend sent money. Multiple friends are sending presents.

I've been sitting here crying tears of joy, my heart melted by the kindness of my amazing friends. Sometimes the world seems so dark, but then a rainbow appears when you least expect it.

I wish your son a very happy birthday. What you wrote broke my heart. No one should have to feel like they have no friends. When you least expect it, you'll find your rainbow.

I had a son. “The boy.” “How’s the boy?” Having a child is overwhelming, too.

He got over 60 messages from my friends around the world. He recieved multiple gifts. His face was lit up the whole day. I spoiled him.
