Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadians on the site. Hope you get to eat some turkey and pumpkin pie.

Thx, and a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone too.

Many here may not realise it but the Canadian holiday is actually a church one on the Liturgical Calendar, yesterday being Thanksgiving Sunday. I am sure many more do not realise that the holiday and date upon which it falls goes back to pre-church times before that. Think about it.... The first Sunday after the first full moon after the Autumn Equinox. Anyway, regardless of what path you follow, let us all enjoy what we have reaped the year before in this festival of the Harvest.

Have a really good Turkey day (or ham, or goose, or fish, or....). For those of you lucky to do so, may your family day be a fine one full of good times.

That's really interesting. I've never heard there was a church component, yet that makes sense. As I've experienced it in my life it is just an opportunity to eat a lot of good food, celebrate with friends and family and be thankful for all we have. Its wonderful.
