Right now, it's the theme from the movie The Poseidon Adventure. "The Morning After," by Maureen McGovern. I don't know why. It's not all that catchy, and although I don't intensely hate it, I don't especially love it either.

It's been stuck in my head for DAYS. I can't get RID of it!

The name for having a certain song stuck in your head is an "earworm."
Thanks for this!

I have had Crooked Teeth by Death Cab For Cutie stuck in my head since at least sometime since 2016 if not earlier.

Recently, as in three months ago, the song "The Suburbs - Arcade Fire" was stuck in my head from then to a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure, it's a lovely tune and I had to stop listening to it after dozens of plays because when you keep listening to a song, you get sick of it and I didn't want that to happen ^^

It's happened to me before with "Poetry in Motion" by Johnny Tillotson, and "The Logical Song" by Supertramp. But "The Morning After" isn't as catchy as those two are. And it's STILL stuck in my head.

My bestie and I share song puns on each others Facebook pages. Typically we get cheesy 80s songs stuck in each others heads. Lol.

Another one I’ve had stuck in my head is Into The Airwaves by Jacks Mannequin. I think that regularly started getting stuck in my head in 2013.

Both Crooked Teeth and Into The Airwaves are quietly sung in the shower every single day.

I currently have Shut Up And Dance stuck in my head thanks to my stupid coworker muttering it under her breath for 5.5 hours straight. But just the “Shut Up And Dance With Me” part since that’s all she was singing.
