A member has asked me to post this question on their behalf.

What are your favourite baby names and boys names?

Do you have a favourite baby name from your generation or past generation?

Does any of the trendy names from today appeal to you?

Lastly, what are some of the alternatives that you would have named your children or that your parents would have named you but didn’t?

Honestly, I'd love to name my baby girl Arizona or Leila (if I can ever figure out the best way to spell it to sound like Lie-la). I think it sounds edgy. But I have always loved Elizabeth and Eleanor as classic names. I like off-beat or boy names for girls like Imogen, Gabrielle, Jill, Sam, Allison, Rhiannon, Eliza, Savannah, Charlie, Lillian, Leila, Danielle

My favorite boy names are Elijah and Zane. For boys I like somewhat more traditional names like Elijah, Thomas, Joel, Everett, Peter, Benjamin, James, Chris, Noah, Daniel, Zane, Charlie

My parents always joked they were going to name me Daisy.

OH! And I would LOVE to name the first boy and first girl after my parents.

I love the name I gave my daughter....Chandra (Chandie) pronounced Shawn-dra. After having such a common name myself with 5 Debbies in my grade school class....there was NO WAY I was going to name my daughter common name.

What are your favourite baby names and boys names?

Girls: Sienna, Layla, and Sadie, Scarlett

Boys: Landon, Rhys(pronounced Reece), Elijah, Liam

Does any of the trendy names from today appeal to you? No, I can't stand the trendy baby names, I get so sick of seeing trendy or made up names anyone see that article where a mother literately named her child ABCDE.

Lastly, what are some of the alternatives that you would have named your children or that your parents would have named you but didn’t? My parents were originally going to name me Renee.
