I went for my annual eye exam today, in part because I badly need new glasses.
My optometrist informed me I now need bifocals. I'm not psychologically ready for bifocals. And as well my eyes are really dry so I have to put prescription drops in them every 3 hours, and put a gel on my eyes, before I go to bed. Not looking forward to this. splitimage |

I just went and I needed bifocals too. I recommend getting the ones with no lines. Im only 42. So I understand.

I want to add that dry eyes are sometimes created or made worse by all the time we spend looking at computer screens.

((((splitimage)))) I don't think needing different glasses makes you old. You can choose beautiful glasses

Sorry about your eye troubles. Look on the bright side, now you can post in the "You know you're getting old when..." thread.
