I thought I could hear the sea if I put sea shells to my ear. I later found out it was just the blood rushing to my head.
I thought the song ‘Macho Man’ was called ‘Nacho Man’ In 1998, I saw my cousin watching TV and for some reason I thought she was recording live TV, and then was rewinding it, the way we can today. For years I believed she had a magic TV. What is yours? __________________ I'm Blue |

wait what? you can't hear the sea if you hold seashells to your ear? dam I still believed that I used to believe that the people in shows such as dramas or soap operas were actually in danger when something bad happened to them (I later found out that they are just characters), but I still remember when the hospital drama casualty would be on and I'd scream when the patient dropped down dead or something- I later found out they were just acting their's no such thing as the birthday bunny who delivers presents to you on your birthday people like mickey mouse and captain hook dress up in costumes and are actually disney cast members trying to be that character for the children if you dropped a CD on the floor it would break in to a million peaces! people's smell depended on how long they'd been living on the earth (nothing to do with showering or washing, just time span) trains/ plains/ cars are controled by magic, not drivers high chairs were actually a punishment to try to get the kids to eat if you ate chocolate, a little kid would come after you and turn you in to a chocolate bar hotel was just a fancy word for jail all the food we ate was made by mcdonalds, not animals |

if you wanted to go on vacation, you'd have to go in to space (places like germany and spain required a rocket.)

I believed in Capt Kirk and mr Spock and that logic could make the world a better place. I believed that by the time I was grown that space travel would be possible and I'd go live off earth.

Logic can make the world a better place.
People that run the world are too guided by their emotions and not sound logic. That's the problem with the world. But yeah I would kill for space travel right now. I am sick of this planet and all the idiots that live on it I want a change of scenery lol |

My dad wouldn’t let me bring my Barney doll into a wake because he told me it would cause the dead person to sneeze. I believed him. I’m not sure how long though. Maybe a few months.
When I was 7 my cousin told me you only see ghosts when you have your eyes opened when your trying to sleep at night. For years the second the lights were turned off I refused to open my eyes. My sister messed with me one time and told me she drew the death card from her tarot cards, and she said I was going to die. I was downright terrified for awhile. She also used to lock me in the basement and turn off the lights and say our house was built on top of an Indian burial ground. __________________ I'm Blue |

haha I actually never thought of that but is old people smell a thing? I mean I can't say I ever noticed despite knowing a lot of old people (my grandmother was 95 when she died) as an extra new baby smell is lovely for a little while when they are clean. haha |

I used to believe that lights went out for everyone at 8 PM, that was it- the world would just shut down until the following morning

When I was about 4-5 my uncle told me that barbie doll hair was dead people's hair. I believed that for a few years.
That monsters were real. When I was about 4 my aunt told me that monsters were real. That's why so many people go missing every year that are never found because the monsters got them and ate them. That the moon was made out of green cheese. That if you held a buttercup up to your chin it would tell if you like butter. IF it made your chin glow yellow then you liked butter. Like most kids I believed in Santa, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny. That if you swallowed bubblegum it would stay in your system for 7 years. IF you swallowed watermelon seeds one would grow in your stomach. __________________ I think I need help 'cause I'm drowning in myself. When I was 15 Someone told me that soda doesn’t fill you up. Now I know that is not true. A large diet cherry Vanilla Coke from Wendy’s will keep me full for hours. In fact drinking liquids is the exact thing you need to do if your hungry, but have just eaten. And diet/light drinks work just as well as water. IMO.

I work as a cashier and you'd be surprised there are quite a few adults who still think that. I work in a small family business and I had to explain some adults that the price they pay is not my 100% profit. They had a very difficult time understanding why I can't simply give them things cheaper or why I can't give them some of the money from the cash register.

I believed you can't drink water after eating fruit because you'll get a terrible stomachache.
That a shape of a certain wild flower will predict the gender of your future children. If you make funny faces your muscles will freeze and you'll look like that forever. __________________ Complex trauma Highly sensitive person I love nature, simplicity and minimalism |

That the Children's Exchange by our house was where you took bad kids and exchanged them for good kids. My mom had me believing that from the time I was 3 until I was about 9. Then I found out it was for clothing lol.
