My company allows piercings. I know I want to get my lip pierced. Maybe as soon as Friday. I’m also thinking about eventually getting my nose pierced too. I know pain is different for everyone. But if anyone’s had their nose pierced how badly did it hurt? I had my lip done a few years ago and I think getting my eyebrows waxed is worse pain. No idea about the nose.

Yes for a few minutes. The other thing is it’s easy to catch/get caught in tops / jumpers whilst taking it off or putting it on

I’ve had mine done three times (I kept having to let it heal over. My body kept rejecting it and I eventually gave up). It does hurt - you’re poking a hole through your nose! But only for a minute and then it’s over. Just make sure you follow the aftercare instructions and watch for your body rejecting the piercing.

I have my left nostril done that I did myself so no idea what it's like at a shop but it was no biggie for me. Also my septum which hurt like hell for a while and made my eyes go crazy but worth it I always wanted it. I had snake bites but my lip didn't like that much. I've also gauged my ears. 3 holes in each year. 00 2 and 4. I've also had a bridge and my eyebrows and my belly button and nipples. My next want is actually the micro dermal in my chest. Those look cool!! I know way past a nose ring but that's my experience..

When I had my nose done, the piercer used a piercing gun, so I felt like I was socked in the face.

Cool! I tried to have a micro dermal in my chest a few times but it always rejected. I have one in my hand now. It's lasted a long time but gets caught on everything. I had my belly button and I pierced my own nipples but they rejected also.

I hardly felt a single thing to be honest. Just go to a professional, and watch as they open the equipment to make sure it’s all sterile.
