if you know that today (or any day) is a pubblic holiday or an apreciation day, post in here what it is so we all know!
today for example is ST patrick's day for the irish I'll try do my bit as well, updating this thread with bizarre holidays and other random facts about the given day (thought it a change of idea). |

Just being a little smart @$$ here but I thought Hallmark has made every day in the year something to commemorate something if it wasn't already a defined holiday

Everyday is a holy day and day for celebrating, according to some religions.
 I think I read that about Quakerism. Oh! Its the first day of spring today! Happy spring I think its women's history month or something? I should know this. |

Just read on my "house mouse" link on FB today that April 4 is "world rat day" everyone gets their day in the world these days.....
I am a house mouse & rat fan. I have had pet rats & heaven knows my woodsy mice keep finding a way into my house now & I catch & relocate or they would take over. I will give them their day
