Didn't know where to put this so I'll plop it here.
 These are a few of the sites I have bookmarked. Some may enjoy so figured I might share. Atlas Obscura - Curious and Wondrous Travel Destinations Neat site for armchair travelers. 'The definitive guide to the world’s hidden wonders!' Tons of excellent photography and informative, interesting text. Amusing Planet - Amazing Places, Wonderful People, Weird Stuff Countries, natural wonders, historical oddities, art...etc. Once again, lots of great photos and info. A lot of fun to dig through. Rare Historical Photos - And the story behind them... What it says...but with stories and info on each one. It's about time someone began fleshing out our past like this. May interest some. |

The other day I bought the book version of Atlas Obsura. Its rather interesting tidbits on off the beaten track traveler destinations. Bought the 2019 calendar too. I highly recommend both for fascinating travel trivia.

Radio Garden A 3D globe with radio stations from all around the world that can be listened to live by clicking on each one. |
