Didn't know where to put this so I'll plop it here. These are a few of the sites I have bookmarked. Some may enjoy so figured I might share.

Atlas Obscura - Curious and Wondrous Travel Destinations
Neat site for armchair travelers. 'The definitive guide to the world’s hidden wonders!' Tons of excellent photography and informative, interesting text.

Amusing Planet - Amazing Places, Wonderful People, Weird Stuff
Countries, natural wonders, historical oddities, art...etc.
Once again, lots of great photos and info. A lot of fun to dig through.

Rare Historical Photos - And the story behind them...
What it says...but with stories and info on each one. It's about time someone began fleshing out our past like this. May interest some.

The other day I bought the book version of Atlas Obsura. Its rather interesting tidbits on off the beaten track traveler destinations. Bought the 2019 calendar too. I highly recommend both for fascinating travel trivia.

I always cruise the used book spots and if I ever find one it it'll be snapped in an instant! Love books like this...I read a lot of travelogue authors as well. 👍 👍 👍

I haven't opened this yet but am looking foward. I used to listen to on-line radio a bunch of years ago but stopped for some reason. Recently tried to find those old sites but all were gone. I was JUST bemoaning on this to a friend.
