Which one would you lose?
And if you had to choose between your eyesight and your hearing, which would you lose? If I had to lose one of my senses, I'd lose the sense of touch. Because if I had lost it now, I'd know not to touch fire or a hot stove, but it'd be nice to not feel pain. I think if I lost the sense of touch, I'd miss the touch of hair the most. I LOVE feeling the touch of hair; it's so soothing. And if I had to choose between eyesight and hearing, I'd lose eyesight. It'd make dating a lot easier, although I'd be very sad to never see my loved ones again. But I could never lose hearing because I am so attached to my music and I am very sensitive to sound and not necessarily in a bad way. I am sensitive to hearing in that I love sounds in general, especially the sounds of loved ones and nature. |

I think I'd probably pick smell.
granted,, I love perfume (and if I lost my sense of smell I wouldn't know what I'm spraying on myself), but their are also so many gross smells in the world and it would be nice to go somewhere without having to put up with the unpleasant smels of a drain or fumes, or something like that I'd pick site between hearing and site, a life without music is a life not worth living |

Hearing.
I get so paranoid people are talking about me. I mishear things as well and it causes a lot of anxiety. If I can’t hear then that particular problem and anxiety is solved. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

I guess hearing, but only if I lost it at my current age, not younger. I would be able to make my own music or play remembered music in my head. I have an excellent memory for music. If I learned sign language, I could speak a loved one's words as they wrote, signed, or spoke them (lip reading)? A breeze against my cheek would be heard. A flag banging against a pole would be heard. Music's vibration/booming would be heard.
Losing the sense of smell can affect the sense of taste. Not enjoying food would be awful. Losing feeling or sight would be more disabling, for me, than losing hearing. |
