Took Amelia to the vet. Luckily everything should be covered by her pet insurance. Grateful for pet insurance.

Today, Wednesday, August 7, 2019, I am grateful for being able to get ALL of my trash to the dumpster all by myself! That's a big deal for me; usually I have to get someone to do it for me. Not today!

My daughter who is able to teach so easily-----------I was asked to take photos around the farm I rent an apt. in----so I got a flash memory stick & damned if I could figure out how to move the files even after trying to follow online instructions, and felt less hopeful reading all the comments of similar frustration under the instructions.
Called the daughter and in under three minutes by phone, she had me totally comfy with the (yeah it is Easy, once you get to the right 'place') whole thing (I was bemoaning that I might have to back out...old SLR user still adapting to the digital world... __________________ "...don't say Home / the bones of that word mend slowly...' marie harris |

I am grateful for reading.
I have not sat down with a good book for ages. There was a time I would devour my way through books. Now, near every surface has an unread book sitting upon it collecting dust. I just don't have the concentration anymore. Well I grabbed a book this morning and have poured through it. I am then very thankful the gift of reading is not entirely lost on me. |

My kitty with the diabetes has really gotten a lot better since she was first diagnosed. I'm so lucky I still have her. She's 14+
