Last year when I was in Calif for legal stuff & was staying on the ranch in the desert with my horse it was 119 for almost one week then cooled down to 112 the next. I struggled being functional in that heat even without humidity. The 80+ % humidity is suffocating though. Feels like you need gills to breathe.

Humidity really kicked in today, but we got rain in the 'fort, which finally cooled it off

It was so hot & humid I was drenched by the time I unloaded a truck load of hay & 6 50 lb bags of feed into my garage before the rain hit. Cooled off a little bit & went out to feed & it was so nice after the rain. Wish is would stay cooler for awhile. Hauling another truck load of hay tomorrow evening & unloading in the evening. Temp is supposed to be 90 at 5pm tomorrow. Hope that is not an accurate prediction.

Here senior citizen starts at 55 & 65 is the old age supplement can kick in.

Hay will wear ya out. I've been drenched after doing it in any weather
